DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Coach Ball is entering his first year at Honey Grove and 27^th year overall.  Coach Ball came here from Blue Ridge HS.  He is the linebackers’ coach.  He is a native of Tom Bean, Texas, and is married to Kimberly (math teacher/Prosper ISD) for 29 years. They have three children: daughter Shelby; two sons, Keaton and Tyler.  Coach Ball graduated from Tom Bean in 1986 and later from East Texas State University – Commerce, Texas, with a bachelors degree (1991) in Physical Education and History.

LANDON COPE

Coach Cope is entering his first year at Honey Grove and 14^th year overall. Coach Cope came here from Princeton HS.  He is a native of Paris, Texas, and is married to Candace.  They have two children: Allie and Gates.  Coach Cope graduated from Austin College in 2005. 

COLTEN LENNON

Offensive Line/Secondary

Coach Lennon is entering his third year at Honey Grove and third year overall. Coach Lennon came here from Tarleton State University/Texas A&M University – Commerce and graduated in 2018.  He is a native of Alba, Texas.  He spends his spare time with his dog Daisy.
